Prof. Fishman is the Scientific Founder of the Company and was previously a professor of Life Sciences and headed the Laboratory of Clinical and Tumor Immunology at the Felsenstein Medical Research Institute, Rabin Medical Center. Prof. Fishman is a very accomplished scientist and has authored or co-authored 170 publications and presented the findings of her research at many major scientific meetings. Her scientific work was the foundation on which Can-Fite was built. This scientific work has gained recognition as one of the leading approaches for next-generation therapies for cancer and other diseases. Her past managerial experience included seven years as CEO of Mor Research Application (MRA), a company that was in charge of the commercialization of intellectual property from all hospitals and research centers of Clalit Health Services, the largest healthcare provider in Israel, and was also the first CRO in Israel. She was also involved in the establishment and served on the Board
Motti Farbstein
CFO @Can-Fite BioPharma Ltd.
Mr. Farbstein, Chief Financial and Operating Officer, joined the Company in 2003 and has more than 20 years of experience in finance and corporate compliance. Mr. Farbstein oversees corporate accounting, finance, tax, risk management/internal audit and plays a significant role in strategic leadership. Mr. Farbstein works with cross-functional teams to manage Can-Fite's finance activities including fundraising and investor relations. Mr. Farbstein's past managerial experience includes seven years as Vice President of Mor Research Application, a company that managed the commercialization of the intellectual property of all hospitals and research centers affiliated with Clalit Health Services, the largest healthcare provider in Israel and Israel's first CRO. He has extensive experience in the data management of clinical trials.
